Two recurring strands: an evening and half-day medico-legal programme for aesthetic practitioners, and a dedicated ophthalmology medico-legal conference with solicitor, barrister and expert-witness faculty. Dates are released to registered interest first.
Two Strands
Both programmes recur. Medico-legal knowledge decays as case law and guidance move, one-off study days do not keep pace with it.
Evening and half-day sessions, held through the year, for doctors, nurses, dentists and pharmacist prescribers in medical aesthetics. Each session takes one live issue, a recent judgment, a regulator update, a claims pattern, the England licensing scheme as it is drafted, and works it through to what changes in your clinic.
Sessions are deliberately close to practice. You leave each one with something you can implement that week: a documentation habit, a consultation question, a protocol amendment.

Format & Faculty
Every Cleritas CPD event pairs clinicians with the people who take clinicians apart: solicitors who run clinical negligence claims, barristers who cross-examine on consent, and expert witnesses who read your notes the way the court will.
Sessions are interactive by design. Cases are argued from both sides. Questions from the floor shape the discussion, and the written materials, session summaries, documentation checklists, reflective CPD templates, are yours to keep.
CPD accreditation applications are in progress. All delegates receive certificates of attendance with documented learning outcomes and hours, suitable for reflective CPD entries with your regulator.

Registration
Events are announced to the waitlist before public release, and early registration runs from £95 to £195 depending on format and venue. Founding-cohort delegates carry that pricing forward. Places are limited by design.
Common Questions
CPD accreditation applications are in progress and we will publish the outcome when confirmed. In the meantime, every event provides a certificate of attendance with documented hours and learning outcomes, structured to support reflective CPD with the GMC, NMC, GDC and GPhC.
Because dates, venues and faculty are confirmed cohort by cohort, and waitlist members get first refusal at early-registration pricing (£95–£195). When an event sells through the waitlist, and the early ones are expected to, it never reaches general sale.
Yes. The claims data underpinning the programme is NHS data, cataract surgery accounts for roughly a quarter of NHS ophthalmology claims, and failure to warn recurs as a primary cause. Consent obligations under Montgomery apply identically in NHS and private practice. The programme serves both, and the discussion is richer for having both in the room.
Possibly. We are selective: faculty independence is the programme's core asset, so sponsorship never buys editorial input. If you can offer a venue, an audience or aligned support, get in touch and we will talk specifics.
