What We Do

Six services. One test:
would your records defend you?

Everything Cleritas offers, training, CPD, audits, rebuilds, full builds and ongoing support, exists to answer the same question a claimant solicitor will one day ask. Choose the depth that matches where your practice is today.

Why This Exists

The claims data is not ambiguous.

0malpractice claims handled by one UK aesthetics insurer between 2020 and 2024Hamilton Fraser, 2025
0of those claims involved dermal fillers, the most-claimed treatment, ahead of laser (210) and toxin (91)Hamilton Fraser, 2025
0%of the payout can be legal costs in smaller claims, one £65k settlement was £13k damages and £53k costsHamilton Fraser, 2025
£0the largest single aesthetics payout in the same dataset. Unclear communication and poor consent documentation recur as driversHamilton Fraser, 2025

The Pathway

Most clients follow the same route.

You don't have to buy everything. But there is a natural order, and it starts with knowing where you actually stand.

Audit: find out where you are

The consent audit scores your documents, your consultation process and your own working knowledge of consent law. Most practitioners are surprised by the result. Better to be surprised by us than by a solicitor's letter of claim.

Rebuild: fix what the audit found

Done-With-You if you want your team to own every clause; Done-For-You if you want the complete system designed, written and installed. Either way, the audit report becomes the specification.

Retain: keep it defensible

Case law moves. Guidance moves. The England licensing scheme is being drafted now. The retainer keeps your documentation current, and puts a human on the end of the phone when a complaint arrives at 6pm on a Friday.

Choose Your Depth

DIY, done-with-you, or done-for-you.

Three tiers. The destination is identical: a consent process that stands up in front of a claimant solicitor, your regulator and your insurer.

Cleritas provides education, documentation and coaching. We are not a law firm, an insurer or an indemnity provider, we make sure you get full value from yours.

Common Questions

Before you choose.

The consent audit, almost always. It costs the least, takes the least of your time, and tells you precisely what, if anything, needs fixing. Some practices pass with minor amber findings and only need a workshop. Others discover their forms would not survive a Montgomery challenge and move straight to a rebuild. Either way, you decide from evidence, not anxiety.

Yes. Cleritas serves doctors, nurses, dentists and pharmacist prescribers, and the teams around them. Where prescribing rules bite, all four prescriber regulators now require face-to-face consultation for cosmetic prescribing, with the NMC ban on remote prescribing in force since 1 June 2025, we build that into your documentation rather than leaving it as a footnote.

No. Cleritas provides education, documentation and coaching grounded in case law and regulator guidance. We are not solicitors and we do not replace your indemnity provider. What we do is make sure that when you need either of them, your records are an asset rather than a liability.

It anticipates it. The government confirmed the traffic-light scheme in August 2025, consultation on the red-tier draft regulations began in June 2026, and implementation is committed within this Parliament. Botulinum toxin and dermal fillers sit in the amber tier. Practitioners who can evidence consent and documentation standards will find licensing straightforward. That evidence is what we build.

The Medicolegal Readiness Score

Twenty questions. One number. How ready are you?
